Living with a peacock

Gracias a este blog he llegado al artículo original de FO'C en la revista Holiday sobre sus pavos. Lo he vuelto a leer (al menos si es la versión que aparece en Mystery and Manners) y me he vuelto a reír y a emocionar.

Many people, I have found, are con­genitally unable to appreciate the sight of a peacock. Once or twice I have been asked what the peacock is “good for”—a question which gets no answer from me because it deserves none.
